Dr. Love is a Developmental Psychologist and Vice President of Policy and Planning at Win(Women in Need) Inc. Win is the largest family homelessness provider in the City of New York. Henry holds an undergraduate degree in History from Emory University in Atlanta, GA; a Master’s in Education Policy and Social Analysis from Columbia University in the City of New York; and a Master of Philosophy in Psychology from the City University of New York Graduate Center. He has over 10 years of experience in policy work in the public and social sectors. His technical expertise and research interest span a wide range of anti-poverty programs and policies including addressing implicit racial bias, affordable housing and child and youth homelessness prevention, guaranteed income, and childhood adversity. His lived experiences as a survivor of intimate partner violence and growing up as an African American youth—navigating the extreme levels of systemic racial inequity in his hometown of Detroit—ignited his passion for racial equity and poverty reduction.
